men and their football

let me introduce you to my husband a little bit...

ever since he was little he has been a HUGE arizona state university fan. it's a crazy obsession of his that he acquired from his dad. every duffle bag, shirt, sweatpants, all is labeled with asu, even his car! on the daily he's checking their scout website to see what everyone's saying, & i mean not a day goes by he's not updating that website. i come from a family who only turns on the tv to watch anything but sports. adjusting to my husbands football watching has been a challenge for me.

for awhile ty has suggested and slightly encouraged me to cut my hair. (i'm convinced it's only because he hates the fact i use an incredible amount of shampoo and conditioner which results in spending a lot of money on expensive hair care haha!) today i had a hair appointment with a huge decision. i was torn between leaving my hair long or cutting it short. yes my hair grows so so fast & i know change is good, with that in mind...

i went for it! (picture coming soon!)

every saturday night i might as well assume that tyler will be sitting in front of the tv for three whole hours with his eyes glued, screaming, jumping up & down... LITERALLY. i had made plans with my mom and sister to go shopping during the asu game, who wants to watch football anyways? definitely not me! i try to convince myself that i like it but it's just not happening.

at this point i still hadn't told tyler what i did to my hair, i had every intention to surprise him! i got home a little too early obviously! as i knocked on our apartment door, (hoping to see a big reaction from him) the door opened & he went straight back to the couch! not a word was said! GUYS this man of mine truly loves asu more than me! hahaha i can't help but laugh.

for the next couple months until football season is over, i will continue to shop every saturday night. that's only fair, right? he owes me many saturday date nights & you better believe i am planning this far in advance!
