a very cold day in april!

before lyric was born we got this darling juicy couture snow outfit because when you're born in february usually there's a few snow days left! well since this year was a very odd year & it didn't snow hardly at all, we didn't get much use out of it! fast forward two months, it decided to snow in april! tyler & i wanted to make use of her little coat before she grew out of it so we took her up to sundance to see the snow! (it was melted & dirty, we know.)

hey at least we tried... right? she wasn't loving the whole cold/wind in her face which makes for very few cooperative pictures.

TWO MONTHS.

april 7th - two whole months today! it's amazing to me looking back at her one month pictures how much she's changed! when you're with her day by day you really don't notice the little things!

our little lyric within the last month:

  • eating every 2-3 hours during the day
  • sleeping 5-7 hour stretches every night, hallelujah for pacifiers!
  • that tongue... we don't take her too seriously, haha!
  • she's learned to fake cry
  • starting to coo & talk back to mommy & daddy
  • bath time calms her whenever she cries
  • hates being cold & without clothes
  • we have mastered the bassinet, she no longer sleeps with me
  • wearing 0-3 month clothes & size 1 diapers
  • loves to be swaddled
  • very high maintenance, goodness this girl loves to be held at all times
  • never stops wiggling!
  • got her ears pierced & hated me for a few minutes, oops
we continue to learn new things with this girl, tyler & i laugh at her little whimpers & coughs when she tries to get your attention. this stage is so fun! i want her to stay small forever.

lyric's blessing day

march 29th 2015-
lyric's special day. her dad gave her the most beautiful blessing, we sure do love this girl!
we're so lucky to have the support we do from our family & friends.
it took a lot for her to cooperate in most of these pictures, she hated her headband! poor baby.
